Campus Pride is a national nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization for student leaders and campus groups working to create a safer college environment for LGBT students.
The RPI Pride Alliance is a resource for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and questioning (GLBTQ) students, alumni, faculty, staff, and their allies at Rensselaer Polytechnical Institute.
The GLBT Student Pride Network is a listing with links to GLBT student organizations in New York State.
PFLAG (Parents, Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) includes mothers and fathers of gay children as well as other family members and friends. Gay men, lesbians and bisexuals are encouraged to participate in the group's meetings which usually occur on the 4th Monday of each Month.
The Albany County Crime Victim and sexual Violence Center provides crisis counseling to rape victims over a 24 hour hotline and advocacy and support for victims in area emergency rooms and police stations. All services are offered free of charge.
