Categories and Dues / Current Members / Members Only

As the leading lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) health advocacy organization in the New York Capital District, RAI works to ensure that LGBT health and human services clients are treated competently and with respect. RAI provides resources and training for health and human services professionals to ensure that they are culturally competent and is a member of the New York State LGBT Health and Human Services Network and the National Coalition for LGBT Health. Funding for RAI comes from our members, donations, and grants. Membership is open to any individual, organization, or business in the New York Capital District (Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, and Saratoga counties) with an interest in supporting the RAI effort. Membership fees are tax deductible.

Individual Membership
Allies and supporters are eligible for an Individual Membership. Any person residing in the New York Capital district may join RAI. Individual members receive the monthly RAI Health and Human Services Newsletter and access to the RAI the provider directory.

Professional Membership
Professional Membership applies to individuals who are employed by a Health and/or Human Services business, are in private practice, or who hold a professional degree or license in a related field. Or health and human services organizations engaged in providing services to the public. Professional members receive discounts on training and can access online member functions at the Members Only page. There, you can review RAI financial and historical documents, search the member directory, edit your directory information, join the provider directory, edit the provider listing, and renew your membership. When accessing the Members Only section you will be asked to log in. (Members can contact RAI at 518-255-4547 or info@rainbowaccess.org if you don’t know your username or password.)
